MIT Art Design Technology University is proud to start with new MIT School of engineering under this banner. MIT Art Design Technology University is a multidisciplinary university is offering Technology programs in the field of micro- specialized areas like Marine engineering, construction management , Bio-science engineering , Food technology and now in the field Aerospace engineering along with regular Computer, Information Technology, Mechanical, Civil as well as Electronics & Telecommunication. MIT Group is always pioneer in developing programs in the innovative, challenging as well as newer cutting edge technology areas.

This institution believes the thought given by Ex. President Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam about India 2020 a vision for new Millennium. Also we remember his words that "Transforming the nation into a developed country, five areas in combination have been identified based on India's core competence, natural resources and talented manpower for integrated action to double the growth rate of GDP and realize the Vision of Developed India”. We in MIT School of Engineering try to produce quality engineers who will satisfy the need of talented manpower and always bide in the vision 2020.

Admission Process

Admission Procedure for First Year Engineering:-

Admissions are being made as per the UGC guideline provided for Maharashtra Private state University Act through DTE round. Separate MITNAT 2017 (MIT National Aptitude test will be conducted in March, April and May to shortlist the selective candidates. Students can claim their seats through DTE round as well.

Eligibility Criteria:-

  • Eligibility criteria for Maharashtra State Candidate and Outside Maharashtra State Candidate: Candidate should be an Indian National and should have passed the HSC (Std. XII) examination of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination with subjects English, Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / Technical vocational subject and secured minimum 50% marks (minimum 45% marks, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) in the subjects Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Technical Vocational subject added together. AND Obtained a positive Composite score* i.e., marks obtained after adding 50% of JEE (Main) (Paper 1) marks and 50% of normalized Standard XII (Board or Equivalent Examination) marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Or must have qualified for Maharashtra State Common Entrance Examination MHCET-2017.
  • Eligibility Criteria for All India Candidates: Candidate should be an Indian National and should have passed the HSC (Std. Training & Placement Department

The office is well equipped with excellent infrastructure to support all the stages of Placement Process viz. pre-placement talk, written test, group discussion & interviews.

The Placement Department imparts training to the students to develop overall personality of the student to be able to equip them for facing the Campus Interviews in this new competitive era. The thrust of the Placement Department is to create maximum opportunities for the placement of the eligible students in the job market by establishing good rapo with the Industry.

The Placement activity starts immediately after sixth semester examination i.e. pre-final year examination of the students. Many of the fortune 500, top and renowned Companies visit to our institutes regularly for the Recruitment Process & most of them get placed even before the commencement of their final year.

The Placement Department operates year round, to facilitate contacts between Companies and graduates. We are keeping consistent trust in improving Placement scenario and our results are rewarding.
